Prior Labs Moves to a Co-CEO Structure
Today we are making a change in how Prior Labs is led: the two of us are now Co-CEOs.
Sauraj leads the business side of the company, and Frank leads research.
Anyone who has worked with us knows this makes official what has long been true. From day one, Sauraj has built and run our business: partnerships, growth, customer relationships, finances and operations. Frank has led our research, from the first TabPFN to the models we ship today. The titles are new; the division of labor is not. None of it would exist without our co-founder Noah Hollmann, the first author of TabPFN, who continues to lead technology and product as our CTO.
For a foundation model company, it was important to start with a CEO from research. As we scale, the business side is growing fast. The research arm is likewise growing fast, now also including multi-year foundational research on moonshots, because the biggest advances in tabular foundation models are still ahead. With this move, each side gets a full-time CEO and the dedicated leadership it deserves, from the person who has been leading it all along.
We started Prior Labs to revolutionize predictions on the data the world runs on: tables. This change allows us to execute on this mission even faster. And nothing excites us more than pursuing it with the amazing team we get to work with every day.
